Basically you can create an auction and save it as a draft instead of actually listing it.
Now what you can do is go to the saved draft, click on it and select "Sell Similar" at the top of the listing.
This way all info you saved as a draft will be available and you can make whatever edits you need before listing the item.
If you only need to make a small change you can click on "List Now" and then edit it once it is listed.
